The God Particle
September 11, 2008 – 11:06 pm by BHI know virtually no physics, but I do know that one goal of the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is to do research that might eventually tell us about the Higgs boson or BEH Mechanism, which is commonly known as the god particle. Following recent news stories about the LHC reminded me of a very fun book Dilbert creator Scott Adams wrote in 2001 called God’s Debris.
I recommend you read it. As a plus, it is available online for free as a pdf. It was initially released as an e-book because his publisher did not want to dilute the Dilbert brand. There is a sequal to the book that is also worth reading. Incidentally, Scott Adams also has some info here about the LHC and how you can use it to your advantage.
